12.1 Product Usage

1. If a device has already been online on the Developer Center, does it need to be added again on the AMP?

Answer: If the device is activated and goes online on the Developer Center but is not displayed on the AMP, please first check whether data authorization has been enabled for this product in the “Developer Center” - “Solutions By Industry” page. If the authorization is enabled, then verify whether product subscription has been enabled in the “Product” page. For specific steps, please refer to the Product Configuration. If the above steps are completed, you can click “Import Device” in the “Device List” module, or have the device report data. The AMP will automatically synchronize the device data.

2. Why can't Product A be enabled on other platforms if it's already enabled on the AMP?

Answer: A product can only be subscribed to by one platform. If Product A is already subscribed to by Platform A, it cannot be subscribed to by Platform B.

3. What is the difference between the device SN QR code and the module IMEI QR code?

Answer: The device SN QR code is generated using the PK and SN, while the module IMEI QR code is generated using the PK and IMEI. The QR codes differ in terms of convenience and security. For details, please refer to the “QR Code Configuration Instructions”.

4. How can a device be shown on the map with location markers?

Answer: Two methods are supported: Automatic Marking: The location is marked based on the positioning information reported by the device, which needs to include GNSS, LBS, or Wi-Fi-based location data. Note: The location must be successfully displayed in the Developer Center in advance before it can be pushed to the AMP. Manual Marking: For devices without location capabilities, manual marking is supported. For detailed steps, please refer to the Location Information.

5. Does the AMP support the trajectory playback function?

Answer: Yes, it does. Navigate to “Device Details” > “Location Information”, and click the "Trajectory Playback" to enter the trajectory playback page. Note: This function requires at least two location records.

6. If a device is deleted on the AMP, can it be restored?

Answer: Yes, it can. After deleting a device on the AMP, it can be re-added to the platform either by clicking "Add Device" or by reactivating the device.

7. Does the AMP support distributing TSL model data in batches?

Answer: Yes, it does. The platform supports distributing TSL model data in batches for the same product through two methods: Method 1: In the “Product Configuration” → “Operation Configuration” page, operate the instructions in batches. After configuration, you can distribute instructions to multiple devices in the device list in batches. Method 2: Navigate to “Installation” > “Device List” > “More Actions”, and click "Distribute Command in Batches" to send TSL models to devices.

8. How to manage SIM cards on AMP?

Answer: Please refer to the SIM Card Service for details.

9. Can historical TSL data be exported from the AMP?

Answer: Yes, it can. Navigate to “Device Details” > “Historical Data”, then click “Export to Excel” to export.

10. Does the AMP support transparent transmission-type products?

Answer: No, it doesn’t. The AMP currently only supports TSL model type products.

11. Does the AMP support the data linkage function?

Answer: Yes, it does. For more details, please refer to the Scenario Linkage Introduction.

12. Can the data screen of AMP be edited or customized?

Answer: Yes, it can be edited and customized. For more details, please refer to the Data Screen Introduction.

13. Can the content of voice call, SMS, or email notifications in “Alarm” be customized?

Answer: Currently, the notification content cannot be customized. Only predefined templates are available.

14. What is the difference between the data screen and the configuration screen? What are the corresponding use scenarios?

Answer: The data screen is a relatively fixed screen preset by the AMP. It only supports adjustments to data and charts within a fixed framework and layout. This is suitable for users with simpler screen requirements. The configuration screen allows users to freely drag and drop components within the configuration canvas to build a screen. While it offers greater flexibility, it is also more complex to set up.

15. What are the available methods for alert notifications, and where can they be configured?

Answer: The available methods for alert notifications include SMS, voice call, and email. Fault alert notifications can be configured in the Alarm Configuration page.
